The African Raptor Trust is a formal beneficiary of the MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet fundraising programme. This is South Africa’s number one community support programme that raises over R2 million a month for schools, charities and environmental organisations. By joining the programme you can now support our bird of prey conservation projects without even having to visit the African Raptor Centre.
This is How It works….
Supporters apply for a free MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet card and nominate THE AFRICAN RAPTOR TRUST as their beneficiary. When they purchase items from participating retailers they swipe this card with the purchase. A small percentage of the transaction is then allocated to ART. The partner stores pays this donation on your behalf, so you are making a difference to a worthy cause without it costing you a cent! The supporter card is not a credit or debit card, but simply tracks your transactions and a monthly statement is also sent to you.
The success of the programme obviously depends on the number of times supporters swipe their card!
